Sammy got her last summer cut this week (although, I am finding I kind of like it short -- no more burr problems!!). She looks SO skinny but SO soft and adorable.
She's also learned a few new tricks the last few weeks (spin, touch, and a much improved heel) so that is exciting for us. She continues to be the cutest dog ever and get lots of attention whenever she is out and about -- love doodles! ![]() ![]() ![]()

I must admit.....with that cute of a face.....any cut would work. In the winter though, those burrs might turn into brrrrrrrrrrrrs!!

She has the cutest face EVER!!! Oh my gosh! And I love her summer cut -- I copied one and saved it for if I can ever get Stella in and get her trimmed. Once her coat changes, I'll have to do it! My dh likes it shaggy but it's getting hard to brush.
Is Sammy a mini?

Hi Traci -- yup, she's a mini, Australian multigen. She's only 16 pounds, so she's a mini-mini (and I think that is pretty much her adult weight, she's almost 9 months old).
I really like the face and head on this cut; not in love with the skinny legs. And I totally agree about the brushing - it is hard and she just isn't cooperative, despite all the treats and acclimation to it. Even with this short cut she STILL manages to get into burrs (ARG!) and it is really heartbreaking to hear her whimper when I try to comb them out. I can't imagine that with longer hair! Stella looks SO adorable in your avatar. How big is she?
