Default Reggae Marley!!

Yah Mon. Marley spent some time in the pool today at day care. The dreadlocks are flowing. No Problem!! In honor of the good showing of the Jamaican track stars performances he displays the new look!

He thinks the New Do allows him to jump higher!!! He may be right!!!!

I love Marley's do. Do you do his do yourself? Or do you use a groomer to do his do

When my car doesn't start, I call a mechanic. When Marley needs a hair cut I call the groomer. Marley does go to a groomer every few months, just a cut, nothing special. This is what he looked like about a week after his last cut.

The reggae look is natural with help from spending time inthe water. The curly, kinky look comes when he goes swimming. He is an F1b, so the extra poodle in him really jumps out after that. It will stay that way until he gets brushed, then there is more wave, and the dreads are less dominant. His body hair is wavy, with very little curl. His neck and head are the only real "curly" spots. We like the shaggy look, but there seems to be a fine line between shaggy and mats. And at the longer lengths, brushing has to be more diligent and more often. We try to find a happy medium between the two.

he is so cute

The curls crack me up - Marley is much more curly than Dexter, but after a bath, if his hair isn't too long Dex will get little curls too

I think my Marley has the same coat as your Marly....wavy on legs and back, curls on neck and head.
I LOVE how his head curls after swimming and am glad that it is limited to his head/neck area as it is so thick.
I love the length on his face but it is so hard to brush/trim.
