Tyke the science teacher????

Well, it looks like Tyke will get to come to work with me after all, even if it is only for ONE day! I met one of our biology teachers, who was really excited to find out I had a labradoodle, and wanted to know if I would bring her to biology class so her students can see her! (Of course, HAM that she is, Tyke would love this!) The last couple of years, the teacher has used labradoodles as an example when she teaches genetics - and she would love for the kids to actually see one, and figure out which traits seem to be dominant and recessive, etc.!
If any of you fellow doodle lovers (especially the breeders) have any info that you think would be helpful, feel free to pass it on! Not sure when we will be making our appearance at school, but I'll make sure I get pictures!!!

What a great opportunity. If the teacher does not have any pictures of Labradoodles, the puppy to adult thread would provide a lot of interesting discussions on the many looks of Labradoodles.

Make sure to take pictures of the new teacher!!

I know one thing for sure Tyke....you'll certainly end up being the teachers pet!!!!
And don't forget to bring her an apple!!!

haha! That's neat!! What a sweetheart!! Tyke you have FUN and be a good doodle like you are!!

You might want to practice PLACE with her so that you could get her to lie down and stay.....really impress 'em!! hahaha!
Just get a little mat and at home, start leading her to the mat and say PLACE! Take the mat with you to school! Very cool!

That trick will come in handy in a LOT of places! We will have to work on that one!!!
