Well, y'all might fire me as a photographer, but we had so much fun today, I almost forgot to take pictures! I think Annie got lots, and I am sure she will post them when she gets home! We had a WONDERFUL time....took a tour of Sun City Hilton Head with Tim and Annie, and even went to the dog park and let Tyke out for a bit...it was "Big Dog Time", so she was the littlest one there, and was a little overwhelmed. However, she seemed to like a sweet Wheaton Terrier named Barney, and a Lab named Chance (think Chance and Tyke realized the family connection???).
After playtime, we drove into Hilton Head and had lunch at a wonderful bistro owned by a man who is a confimed dog lover (the waitress told us he has three!) We all got our Bloody Marys and Tyke had a nice cool bowl of water. She was an angel during brunch! I'd brought some of her kibble, and shared my cantaloupe and pineapple slices with her. Annie called to check on Tanner, who has been eating (always a good sign), but I'm sure he will be SOOOOO happy to see them when they get home! Then we parted ways until October, and BaBa and Tyke and I went to the Pet Supermarket. She loaded up on bully sticks and a new ball, and we even got birdie presents for Tindy Lou! Here are the pics from the dog park: [img] ![]() This is Fresco, one of two Italian Spinone dogs at the park - they were beautiful, but really BIG! (His owner said he must have thought Tyke was a cute little blonde - he started drooling when she came in !) Here's Tyke and the other Spinone ( didn't catch his name), getting accquainted as only doggies do! [/img] ![]() Tyke and Chance, the lab. She seemed to like him because he was calm!!! ![]() Tyke and Barney the Wheaton - he was such a cute dog - he wanted Tyke to play with him! ![]() Tyke in the foreground with Barney by his master - Barnie was such a cutie! ![]() Here's Tyke and her new "bud" Barney with one of the Sun City residents ![]() Tyke said, "I had so much fun today, and can't wait until Tanner gets to come too!" By interstate, we are just a little less than an hour away, so we'll have to have lots of doodle romps!

Barney's dad said he had never seen all the dogs run up to the fence to greet a new dog like they did with Tyke - they were mostly boys, and they must have thought Tyke was a little hottie!

It was fun to watch her interact with the dogs, though - and a good experience for her - and me! It was awfully hard to take that leash off her and back away from my baby so she could make her own friends!!!

Thanks for sharing! Looks like you all had a GREAT time.
I think it's SO good for the dogs to be able to meet and greet other dogs. I'm sure Annie is great company for you too. I wish I lived closer to be able to meet some doodle lovers!
