Default Bye Bye Basketball

The doodles have toyed briefly with the basketball we purchased months
ago, however Hershey has been playing with it much more vigorously in
the last couple of weeks.

Well, today she finally got her mouth around it and it was not long before
a slow leak emerged. This really got her wound up because now she
could actually carry it around in her mouth rather than just pushing it
around. So between the gallons of slobber, a dirt-based, doodle-destroyed
backyard, and two others that wanted to get in on the action, we now have
three very dirty doodles.

It almost looks like Hershey is quite proud of her accomplishment.

Just so the other doodles don't feel left out. Below are Charlie and Gracie.
They look innocent enough, but the traces of mud tell a different story.

I do not think it was any of them that broke the ball
Far too sweet.

awwww how cute - I think that ball had a slow leak, there is no way those cute faces could be any part of that ball deflating

Oh, a deflated ball is ALWAYS a better toy for a doodle anyway! They just finally got the necessary adjustments made. lol

We had the same thing with a small leather soccer ball.
Lucee eventually put a hole in it and now it is better than ever according to the doodles.

She runs and drags this poor deflated ball around the backyard.

So don't get rid of it yet. Fantastic photos. Little Gracie is growing like a weed.
That was a mighty effort putting a hole in a basketball. Well Done Doodles!!
You have a beautiful bunch of doodles there.

Unfortunately, the next time I went outside the basketball was shredded
into pieces. So... I had to spoil the fun and throw away the remains for
the safety of my doodles.

I guess I'll just have to find another indestructible toy... oh wait, there is
no such thing around a Labradoodle!

Max has the same problem with footballs, soccer balls and basketballs
I seem to always buy the defective ones
