We took the doodles to the "L'Oreal - Your Dog is good enough" fundraiser for breast cancer today. It is a beautiful day (80 and sunny)...and the event was totally packed - we must have parked a mile away!! We were a little unsure about how Kirby would do - but I think he was so totally overwhelmed with all the dogs that it calmed him down. I was very proud of him - he was exceptionally well behaved and only got into his crazy mode once or twice.
There were hundreds of people there - a total zoo!! They had a dock diving event, several dog shelters with dogs for adoption and lots of free give aways (we got so much free L'Oreal make-up - I think I have enough to last me the rest of my life). I think we met 10-12 other doodles. I snapped a few photos... Kirby and Jerry getting some hot dogs (only for the humans)... ![]() Dex waiting patiently... ![]() Dex in the pool (the tan dog is a doodle)... ![]() A hay maze - we all ran it...Dex and I tied for the same time as Jerry/Kirby (19 seconds) and I won a tee-shirt for our time ![]() Just a stand - and a crowd

What a great day. Looks like lots of fun.
Well done Kirby...your baby is growing up. Sounds like they raised a lot of money for a very good cause. You'd have thought mum and dad would have share their hot dogs though On an 80 degree day I would have done some dock diving and the doodles could join in!

What fun!! Isn't it great how we meet such wonderful people and have such fun all because of our doodles??!!! I think Tyke is becoming my social director - everything we do now seems to revolve around her - and that's a GOOD thing!

haha...no....none of us did dock diving. It was just for the "professional" dogs. it was really great to think of how much money they raised for the charity. And no - I did not share the make-up with the doods
