OMG Where is Rusty!

This is Rusty, happy go lucky...not a care in the world

Then mum thought he needed a proper trim at the groomers.
Complained about his big fur sponge feet coming into the house with all the wet weather we're having
Well when we went to pick him up I didn't recognize him

And now he doesn't want to get out of bed!!

Not keen to have his photo taken anymore so here are some flowers....(stole Gene's idea!!)

Come on Rusty you are still as cute as can be!! Just look really different.

The groomer did a really great job but I should have said not sooooo short on his body.
Poor guy it is still middle of winter here

Rusty, it looks like you and Tyke got the same 'do! It was a shock when I first saw her, but I like it now! (although I do prefer the "teddy bear" look, but not the maintenance!) Tyke did keep her fluffy feather duster tail, but otherwise, she is about 1/4 inch all over her body! [img]

I do know that TYKE likes it - she can run around in the heat now, without feeling like she is wearing a fur coat!!

I think he looks great. To stay warm, my 3 find a doodle500 helps a lot!!

I think Rusty looks so handsome! He still has a lot of thick fur to keep him warm, not to mention cuddling up to his sister!

Your dogs are so gorgeous! How cold does it get there in winter? Is it rainy?

Yes Doodle 500s are done often to keep warm!
Here in Melbourne we are close to the ocean so our winter weather is not too bad.
We never get snow, though there is snow occasionally at 150mtr level so it is close by.
The winter weather reminds me of the milder winters we had in Vancouver, BC. Lots of rain and grey skies.

It is such a shock when you go pick up your fur baby minus all that fur.
Rusty had such a heavy coat on him. We were actually thinking of putting him on a diet !!

The bright side of the groom for Rusty is he is no longer getting threats of limited food.

His back is like touching soft velour and nightly groomings take 5 seconds.

Rumor you are one very handsome Dood .....Love Lucee xxx

Lived in Coquitlam for three years in my late teenage years (many moons ago)
You live in a very beautiful part of the world. I plan to take my DH for a visit
one day. Maybe when we finally retire.....would mean leaving the doodles behind....
I have a step brother who lives on Galiano Island
