Default Dexter's new fence

I'm laughing so hard. Dex has never been out in the back yard off leash. He's been "doing his business" on a leash all his life. So Kevin finished the fence in the back yard yesterday. This morning instead of putting his red leash on him, I just opened the door and said let's go! He stood and looked at me, and looked at his leash hanging on the door, and looked at me..... Daisy was already bouncing around the yard by then. I stepped out and he tentatively stepped out with me. He stood within 3 feet of me like he was on leash. Wouldn't potty, just stood there watching little sissy bounce. So we go in. We go out a second time and he does exactly the same. I'm beginning to wonder if he'll get it. The third time, he's gone to the door to beg, he really has to go. So I open it and go out. Daisy bounces up the hill, and he jumps straight up in the air, and bounces up the hill behind her. Does his business, then does a doodle 500 around the yard! He got it! Bwahahahaha!

I have to practice hitting moving targets! Gene, did your crew act funny when they first got their fence?

When I got home from town, I saw Kevin's lawn chair out there. He took them out and started throwing sticks down the hill, and watching them chase each other up the hill. He called it the doggie olympics. I think Dex knows the drill now. He's worn out

We'll have to chip in for a video camera for you then you don't have to worry about moving targets.
Would love to see photos!! Even blurry doodle 500s!
