we got to see a demo this morning at a local pet festival and it looked like so much fun!
does anyone do this with their doodles? how do you get involved in it? do you need to compete, or can you just do it for fun? i think sammy would be awesome at flyball - she LOVES to run and jump and is amazingly fast for her size!

I took a few beginner agility classes with Dexter...just for fun. He did really well. Funny thing is that he often did better than the other dogs who had experience

You are so lucky to be able to participate in flyball and lure courses. In our state, it is very exclusive and not for the "non pros".
PS...can you take you camera tomorrow?

If you look at the North American Flyball Association, they have links to local clubs:
http://www.flyball.org/flyball_teams.html The clubs vary in levels of seriousness: some take competition very seriously and some have a "just for fun" flavor! We have a local club with a fun attitude that I want to get Dakota involved in--if and when Dakota and I rejoin the active living--not likely this summer! But I could do flyball for a winter sport--or should I say Dakota can do flyball . . . |
