How these two can lay in the sun is beyond me!!! How hot is it where you are??

We got close to 110 but minus the humidity--I know what a killer humidity is! Stay cool!

Beau is a shade dog. But Cacao would lay in the sun. I don't understand it. But she really likes it.

Beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland will be 95 degrees (heat index of 100), very very humid. So this is what we will be doing all weekend enjoying the Chester River!!

Was golfing yesterday, I was a sweaty sticky mess! That beer cart girl sucked too. We didn't see her until the 7th hole!!!!!! She was nice to look at, but looks only get you so far on a hot day.

Overall it has been hit and miss up here in WI. It gets hot and stickkkky, but it could be worse. I have the AC going so Dudley is fine. Have to keep an eye on him when we're outside though...

92º-95º F and humid here, which is standard for here. Just plain yucky, so we stay in the a/c as much as possible. Cali goes out to do her business and then wants right back in. No sunbathing for her. She's sprawled out on the tile floor.

It's only 80ish here and we don't have much humidity (usually NONE) so it's beautiful! Stella still has her lovely soft puppy coat that I'm hating to get cut so she's a bit warm and won't move out of the shade... she hurries from one shaded area to the next to lay down. I think we got our puppy at the right time of year .... she seems so calm because she's too stinking hot to have any energy!

Hey Kathie, just being nosy and wondering... do Raleigh and Molly get confused as to who's being called? Their names sound so similar, even though they are spelled so differently! We have a doodle and a lab, too... lots of difference in temperament but lots of similarities, too. Are yours very different? Or is your chocolate a doodle, too, rather than a lab but just looks more lab-ish?

Hahahaha...no Traci, theres no confusion over the two names, because I when I call Raleigh, and he ignores me, I say in a louder voice..'DOODLE'!
And he comes running!!! Molly, I cut short, and call her Moll..or 'Sweet Sweet' she knows her name... She also is all Lab!! No Doodle zoomies for her..she's too refined for that..hahahaha..she's also almost 5 yrs old, and is happy just laying around and chewing on her bone!!! (better than the coffee table that she 'remodeled' when she was young')

It got up to 55F today after a nighttime temp of 42.
Enjoy your summer weather while you have it!
I know our winters are very mild but they're still a pain.
Lots of rain....damp doodles.....lots of wind....sun doesn't start to rise till 7:30 am
Sunsets by 05:30 pm and when you have to work you are walking dogs in the dark.
At least we never have to shovel snow here (lived in Sudbury, Canada and I know about lots of snow)
Lucee is a shade dog. When we walk in the summertime she speeds up in the sunny bits
and slows down for the shady bits.
Rusty was an autumn puppy so it will be interesting if he is the same.

It actually hasn't gotten too bad down here in Atlanta YET!!! We have only hit 90 a couple of times this year... I am sure it's coming though!
