My daughter had to work yesterday so my DH & I got to have the grandchildren for the day.
When we have the girls over, not much gets done. So with this in mind we decided to drop down to the beach for a morning walk. One of the main reasons we picked labradoodles is their reputation with children. They get along so well together. This is Hannah who is 3 1/2 yrs old with Rusty checking out the water temp. Don't forget it is winter time here brrrrrrrr. ![]() This fact didn't slow Audrey down age 22mths......maybe need to take shoes off first????? ![]() I'm game says Hannah.....who decides to have a little foot paddle ![]() For a change it is not the doodles digging in the sand....was that a bunny I saw Rusty???? ![]() Nope.....no bunny here! ![]() Meanwhile Audrey is still digging in the sand.... ![]() Sun Bleached Doodle Hair ![]() The doodles love Audrey. She always has nice smells on her sticky fingers and leftover lunch on her face. Plenty of doodle kisses for Audrey ![]() Lucee and Rusty always get so excited no matter how many times you go down on the beach ![]() The sun popped out for about 30 minutes....aahhhh it was sooo nice. ![]() This is my favourite shot....The End

All of your pictures are great! I love the beach, and haven't taken my two yet...But the one I like best is the one with the ears straight up!!! Hahahaha...he looks like the Wookie in Star Wars...(if anyone remembers that one...

Oh, I'm so envious of your beautiful beach! (I'm so stinking landlocked that my five-year-old has never even seen a beach!) And what's this "nothing gets done" business -- taking care of the grandkids is a HUGE accomplishment in itself, especially at their active ages!
All the "kids" are gorgeous!
