Default I hear the pitter patter of little paws (cuteness overload)

Okay, it's not a collie. Kevin and I fell in love with his grandma's little mini-schnauzer, Nicki. So we decided to keep an eye out for one. So it just happened my friend bought one on impluse and couldn't keep her. So meet Daisy, Dex's little sis.

She's 8 weeks and I think she's going to rule the roost. They had a rottweiler where she was born, so she's used to holding her own. I haven't put her down on the floor with him yet. He's too wound up. He won't stop sniffing her, and when his sniffs get pushy, she growls and he backs off. She's a snip!

She's all of about a pound, and I'm just afraid they'll get too rough. So she's either crated, outside with me, or being held by me. She's definitely a little lap doggy. Dex likes sitting on the couch next to us so they can both get pets, while he sniffs.

Daisy sounds like she will give Dex and run for his money. That is so GREAT. She is soooo cute. You know she will get Dex into so much trouble. Because how can you get mad at her. TOOOO CUTE! Congrats.

I've had this puppy for 7 hours, and she's had 3 big drinks of water and a serving of food, and she's been outside countless times and she hasn't peed. I don't know whether to worry, or whether she's just a little traumatized from the long trip home.

I guess I'll wait and see if she pees tomorrow.

Dex is still in "there's a doggie in my house and I can't play with it" hyperdrive.
