haha...our house is a zoo tonight. Kirby (who is very very observant at picking up on our signals (I think the packing did it) has figured out something is up and seems to think it involves him going somewhere...he's doing his happy dance over and over following me all around the house.
Dexter seems to be feeling much much much better...when we got home from work and took off his cone, his doodle butt went down and he started doing doodle 500s around our very small basement. an hour later he jumped the x-pen fence (something he never ever does) to come up to find me. I think he's got a ton of pent up energy!

That is great he is doing better. When are you leaving? Are you driving at night or day? Night worked really well for us, our eight hour drive.

as long as nothing crazy comes up regarding work tomorrow we plan to drive tomorrow afternoon/evening. I'd like to leave by 3-4 pm so we aren't driving too late. It's more like 5-5.5 hrs for us (so not as bad).

Dex is out of control...jumped the x-pen a 2nd time (someone rang the doorbell) - poor thing is dying to play. We played some controlled fetch with him - he really needs to stay somewhat calm until Saturday...may not be possible though
