Annmarie is DEFINITELY right!!
I've now had all your support and understanding plus my family. Jac had told me to expect these things to happen and she was right.
I didn't really get into this yesterday, but now in my life when someone like this woman frightens me, I can actually get pretty nasty.....It's the fright flight thing and my adrenaline gets going. Feeling like I could cry was a better emotion than getting angry. Bogart was with me to calm me down and keep my sense about me. Plus, I have to understand that this woman is obviously sick. No one can be that miserable and not be sick. Going off on her would've been wrong.
I'm glad I handled it the way I did and am sooooo happy for all your support.
No one said this would be easy!

Linda, I'm sorry I didn't see this before - as you can see, all of us are behind you and Bogart, and so are the gym manager, the other patrons AND the law. It really does sound like she has some sort of 'roid rage or other problem. Sounds like she is related to the nut in MTD's condo regime!!
Hopefully, SHE will be the one who doesn't return to the gym, but if she does, I think you are well within your rights to ask the gym manager to have her leave. I am sure she scared more people than you. She is obviously unstable and would probably go off on just about anyone. I'm sure the gym doesn't want someone like that scaring off good customers, and they are within their rights to ask her to leave the property. Don't let a bitter, hateful person spoil your progress - we are behind you and Bogie 100%

Linda...a person like that woman is scary in a way but such is life and unfortunately it will always exist. What may be positive from this is that you grow from it, possibly this woman down the line may also realize her wrongfulness?
but for you, it strenghtens you inside, be thankful people like that aren't related to you and you'll reach your main goal w/Bogie as you're well on your way to-date!!!

that woman is like the ones who put down doodles...take them w/a grain of salt, walk proud and tall, and perhaps you and Bogie will start to rub off on negative people here and there

so i say take a postive out of every negative, keep your cup half full like you do daily and CONGRATS on bogie's CGC and other training your trainer commended you both on!

I've always been raised with this mindset:
-You only go through life once. Looking back will you be proud of how you lived it?-

This person will probably look back when they are old and gray and think... Hmmm... I was a real waste of space on this Earth, wasn't I?

Knowing me I would say that Bogie used to be a trained attack dog and start mumbling aloud to myself in German. Then again I have absolutely no patience for rude people and love to serve them a nice calm glass of "Shut the heck up".

I just talked to the gym manager. I was told that this has happened before and they are totally on my side!!
They said for me not to worry and they actually hope the crazy lady would call them so they could set her straight!
woohoo!

Hey Linda!

I am so sorry that you were put in that position. Please remember that you did nothing wrong, and Bogart was perfect. That woman, If you can call her that, made a complete jerk out of herself. I am glad that you had support around you when it happen. And from reading your story the gym is on yourside as well. Good Luck with your training!

This is too exciting! My doctor had been delaying getting this prescription out to me due to being too busy.
I called the office today and told him what happened and he faxed it over to me.
We're now totally documented and ready to roll! To be honest, had I had the script on me monday night, I would not have shown it to her. I may have been a bit more verbal. Showing it to her would MAKE it her business.......and it's NOT!!
