[quote="hmz819"]Maya shreds toys in minutes. Haven't tried a cuz yet but she destroyed the orka ball in 15 minutes. Petsmart and dog.com have a new plush toy called Skeenz. It's not stuffed but has squekers in either end. Maya has to dissect the toy and remove the squekers but she still plays with it after.

Jaxy does the same things...No soft squeaker toys of any kind for him either!!!

I love it!!

My Dog is the same way with toys that have squeakers!! She has gotten better with the shredding of the fluffy toys, but there is a occasionaly repeat showing of that "talent" Casey loves the toys that roll around when you drop them. We have a couple of those. I swear I think she has more toys than my kids did growing up!

Forget about stuffed toys -- except to take cute pix.

If you want chew toys that will stand up to your doodle, the only ones that last are Nylabone (especially 'big chews'), Kong (the black ones are stronger than the red kind), Goughnuts & sterilized bones (not the ones w/ the brown gunk -- just the clean, white ones).

We raise Guide Dog pups and have tried EVERYTHING -- the above toys are the only ones that survive with strong chewers.

lets just say that we can buy a dog toy company for all the toys we get Max.He gets them and shreds them whithin seconds. We've tried every toy out there, you name it we've tried it.Nothing has lasted more than 5 minutes.
Max nickname is shredder.we just say hes not a shedder hes a shredder.
