Default Nursing home antics!

Not long ago, I took Callie along to visit my mom's brother in the nursing home. Uncle Blair has Parkinson's, and uses either a walker or a wheelchair depending on what kind of day he's having.

Pets are welcome at the home, and the residents love to see them come. As we settled in his room for a little visit, Callie spied something that would hold her interest for the duration of our visit.

In this particular nursing home, it is common practice for the sake of the floors to place tennis balls (slashed to accommodate the walker legs, of course) underneath the legs of the walkers. It helps them slide along the floors more easily, and minimizes any marring they might do.

But of course, with 4 tennis balls sitting temptingly in front of her nose, what's any self-respecting Doodle to do? It certainly kept her entertained!Definitely one of those 'wish I'd brought my camera' moments.

(No harm came to either walker or Doodle in the course of this adventure!)
