Default A story by Boo

My Mommy is So Mean! But So Nice! by Boo

My Mommy is so mean! You won't believe what she did this week!
She took my Petsmart gift card (the one my cousins gave me for my birfday) and she bought THIS!!!

A PINK COLLAR!! And not just ANY pink collar, but one with FLOWERS and PEARLS on it! GRRRR!!!

Can you believe it?! A stud muffin like me, wearing a pink frou-frou collar?!?!
I was SO MAD!! When she put it on me I wouldn't even look at her!

"I'd rather sniff my butt!"

Mommy said I looked "adorable", and that the ladies would love me.

I said "Whatever!"

She said "We're in California. Its okay for boys to wear pink!"

I said: "I'm not listening to you!"

Then she said "Well, maybe we can give it to your little sister when she arrives."

"Huh???"

And then Mommy told me the GREAT NEWS!! I might be getting a BABY SISTER!!

Yup, she and Gwamma and Gwampa just got on a waiting list for a puppy! Can you believe it?! I'm gonna be a big brother!!

Mommy said that the puppy will be born in the fall and come home in the winter! So its a long time to wait! But if all goes well, I'll be a big brother in 2008!

I've already started practicing my "big brother" poses.

"Wise, authoritative, and regal."

"Am I good or what!"

So I guess this pink collar isn't so bad after all. Besides, its just a loaner!

What a great story Boo!! Miko thinks the pick collar looks SIZZLIN' HOT on you!! Jonah and Rumor recommend not wearing it to the dog park......some dogs aren't all that "California"!!

Cute story Boo...Tanner is not so sure about the collar...appearances are so important and Utah is definitely not California.

Congratulations on the baby sister, Boo!

But the collar? NO! I think you need one with metal studs or something.

BOO you have a mommie that is caring, sweet and has a GOOD sense of humor putting a pink collar on you. great story though (from annmarie)

Dear Boo's mom:

My mom has a dark purple collar on me and some people think I am a girl but say I act like a boy, all agree: purple does look good on me.
So please take the pink collar and put it away for Boo's sister to be.
GREEN, Yellow, Oranges, Multipatterns, Red, Blue and Purples do look good on us guys. BUT Pink w/pearls ??? ohhhhhhh Boo my heart goes out to you (From Max)
PS Peanut says she likes that collar alot

Great story Boo! A pink collar on you doesn't phase me. While I might have been born here in TX, my family named me after California since that's where they moved from. They're used to guys in pink. Very exciting news about your becoming a big brother. You can give the collar to your sister when she arrives and she'll think you're the sweetest big brother! - Cali

CONGRATS BOO!!! You are gonna love being a BIG BRO!!! I know I do!!! There are a few things I want to warn you of...
1. Little sisters can and will sometimes steal all your stuff, but since they are babies, you might want to let them at least in the beginning.
2. Little sisters will sometimes use you as a teething tool.
3. Little sisters will sometimes view you as a jungle gym.
4. They don't know how to do ANYTHING, so you have to help the learn how to to easy things like... SIT, DOWN, FETCH, OFF
5. They follow you everywhere, forget about having any privacy or quiet time.
6. They lay all over you.

But the COOL things are...
1. They are smaller than you so you can push them around sometimes.
2. You are not corrected for putting your mouth on them.
3. They don't know anything, so you are the STAR
4. When your parents are tired or not home, you always have someone to play with.
5. You can blame her for anything BAD!!!
6. We have wrestle mania on a daily basis.
7. They lay all over you!

Good Luck-
Lucas

PS... Della says she wouldn't mind holding on to that collar for you until your sis comes! (Told you, they try to take everything!!! Eeeesh!!)
