Miko is making her move!

I believe that Miko is making her move to be Alpha doodle in the house. She has been getting more protective of her "spaces" (under my computer desk and the foot of my recliner). She give very high sharp warning barks to the boys. And today in the yard she was actually humping Jonah!!

She's done the paws on his back before, but this time included the hip motions and the neck biting. Jonah is probably going to breathe a sigh of relief.

In Yiddish, Miko would be described as a "gezunteh moid"... (a big healthy girl who could wear a man out in several ways!)

Miko--you are a treasure to be sure!!!!! Alpha dog stuff cracks me up! Dakota was "raised" by Sparky, a half-rottie who let the little doodle pup know from "Day 1" who alpha dog was!!!! Nothing will ever change there. BUT, when we go to our vacation house and Dakota's friends visit, Dakota takes full advantage of Sparky's absense and humps every dog that enters his deck area!!!
