kathie we had 94 here today ---it's been this hot for days
tomorrow bad thunderstorms are supposed to arrive, so far all warnings to-date well the storms died out about 10mi before hitting us
and then it's supposed to go down to 60s in next few days

this weather is like a yo-yo .....hard frosts then up to 90's and then back down again

it's 77 degrees outside and 83 inside my house i am opening up more windows now

i am NOT complaining though as i one who LOVES The HOT weather

Hit 100 for a few minutes here yesterday- Tyke only got a five minute chuck-it game at 8pm last night. Otherwise, we are playing fetch in the sunroom with her dinosaur eggs! Thank goodness we are headed for the mountains next week - Banner Elk is having a "heatwave" w/ 87 degrees yesterday - I'll take that over 100 any day!!!

I simply can not believe that Eastern North Carolina has been the hottest place in the country for the last 4 days!! And today we should hit 100 or above again!!!

The fish are dying in our local lakes...just going belly up.

And this Spring, I found a love for gardening that just hit me out of nowhere. I spent weeks working on my yard and landscaping. Most of my perennials are okay but the annuals are gone. And the grass is crunchy!

I am grateful that we don't have our Doodle yet. Our 14 year old Cocker is content to stay inside all day.

And don't get me started on the TICKS!!! Gross.

haha...all day at work yesterday people were like "since when do kids get out of school early because it's hot??" I can remember sitting and roasting in a classroom with a single crappy fan for the room People were scrambling to figure out what to do with their kids (since they were at work).

I NEVER complain about the cold....I grew up in Miami and I never want to be that hot again!!! Hence the reason we moved NORTH!! Hmmm..maybe we need to go west instead of north...Colorado looks nice.....

Just about perfect here today. High of 70 and partly cloudy.

Dudley LOVES ice cubes. Not sure why exactly, but he goes nuts for them.

Hooray for a decent, warm but not to hot day here in MA!
The past few days have been in the 90's.
Sammy the love bug doesn't want to stay inside so we pick him up and give him a go in the pool every once in a while to keep him cool. (And try to get him to like the water)

winter here can mean 10below zero to high's of 20degree F

ME? crank the heat up, the hotter the better
i used to vaction to mexico, florida and south america in august! yes!
it was really HOT

here? the 90's temps are gone and today it's 79 F but refreshing at same time as my A/C is leaking so can't use it but there's always ceiling fans, cool showers or quick dip in pool (now open)

so send your HEAT WAVE over to me, i'll take it
