Default Punched in the face...by my doodle

Yup, a nice ole donkey kick to the cheekbone. Ouchy!
Boo didn't mean to, of course! He had a foxtail on his right leg that was tickling him, so he did his usual "hop with a donkey kick" move. Unfortunately my face was in the way! Bwahaha!
(I was kneeling on the ground getting a foxtail out of his LEFT leg.)

So apparently the whole "don't stand behind a horse" rule also applies to doodles!

I know the feeling - Tyke occasionally gives me a kidney punch in the middle of the night with those "kangaroo legs" of hers! OUCH! (yes, she has moved herself up from the foot of the bed! )

Cacao has almost pushed me out of bed. She normally starts at the foot of the bed. But by morning she is between my dh and on my pillow with her legs pushing me off. LoL she hasn't done it yet. But we have been really close a few times.

Not yet. I am not sure if our bed is that big. I like my space. Right now he is in his cage. We will have to wait and see about sleeping with us.

ouch! i hope your face is ok while i've never been kicked in the face by a doodle, i HAVE been kicked in the head by a horse! (that explains my being slightly "off" i guess) but shaia kangaroo kicks me from time to time if i'm taking too much space on *her* couch.

I haven't had a chance to post this until now but I startled Boyd this weekend with a "sneak attack hug" and he managed to punch me in such a way that one of my two front teeth is now chipped. It's not that noticeable thank goodness but I need to go to the dentist to get my two front teeth filed so they are the same.

Ouch Lora!! Jonah did something similar to me last summer. I went to kiss his little head...he jerked up, caught me in the chin, cracked my back molar and also gave me a bloody lip! Nothing like doodle dental work, huh?
