I took Dex out for potty this morning. I know better than to go barefooted, but he was in a hurry and I couldn't find my shoes. So I thought I'd just stay on the wooden sidewalk and let him go on the grass beside it. Everything was going swimmingly til my neighbor walked out of his house. Dex saw him and went nuts (he adores Ken). He yanked me so hard, I lost balance and started going toward the grassy hillside, which is covered with thistle weeds. I didn't want a foot full of thistle so I put on the brakes. Dex was still in full diesel tractor mode and kept right on going. My big old butt hit the ground (yep, in the thistles) and I let go of the leash. He ran straight to Ken and scratched his arm badly when he jumped on him. Ken walked him back to me and I got up with some of my dignity intact. Ouch. We parted with Ken's arm bleeding and him going back in to get a paper towel, and my booty stinging from thistles.
I need a shower and Mr. Incredible Hulk needs obedience lessons, bad.

It's not till you have to ask for help picking thorns outta your tush that you find out who your REAL friends are.
I hope you're all ok!

I'm fine. I heard a noise out back awhile ago and it was Ken, mowing my back yard. He must have felt bad for me landing in that mess
Mr. Hulk is wound for sound as usual. I don't think he feels any remorse at all for hurting mommy's bum.

Um, no.
The pants stayed on this time. But it wouldn't have been anything Ken hadn't accidentally seen before. Did I tell about the time I snuck out to potty Dex at 6:00 a.m., in my scanties, only to hear him clear his throat from the hot tub, and laugh as I ran for the door?
