Today is Matey's 1st Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my Matey! He is already 1 year old. He weighs 40lbs and is about 22" at the shoulder.

He had 2 playdates and received some nice toys, one of which he really loved and destroyed in no time at all. Those are the most fun toys, right?

I marvel at how everyone gets your doodles to keep b-day hats on...I'll have to try one on Kirby in June - Dex would never keep it on his head.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! It really was a fun day. I can't believe how quickly the time went. We are now in our 3rd training class and hope to get our CGC certificate by summer. Hopefully in a year from now we will be getting a Therapy Dog certificate.
