Default Doodles at the beach

It was so nice out today, we thought we'd take the doodles to the small beach down the road from us.

Beautiful pictures.............
I see they are leashed, is that a rule at the beach?
Do they swim this time of year?

I'm sure there is a leash law around here (there is an off leash dog beach further south)...if they were more reliable I would let them off leash, but there are many people who fish in the area as well as many kids and I worry the boys would get into trouble

Did Dex look as good leaving as he did going? They really did a good job at his last groom.

I use the same harness for Copper and Jett. Love it!

Beautiful pictures, Leslie! Is that the Jersey shore?
Are those 25 ft leashes?

Thank you I am always sad to cut off his hair, but then I wind up liking his short look

It is the Jersey shore, but it's really really not a nice beach. It just happens to be 5 min from our house, but I would never swim in the water there. The central/south NJ beaches are so so much nicer than this one The leashes are 16 foot...I thought of getting longer ones, but I realized that w/2 of them that the lengths may get out of control

hmmm...I really don't know. They weren't rolling or anything in it and the sand only was on their paws and we used a wipe to get it off. Most stuff brushes out of him easily so I would bet sand will be the same. He definitely was very very interested in the beach

P.S. My husband informed me I posted incorrect info - our leashes are 25 foot.

Does anyone ever use the 50ft cloth lead leash?

i do for training or to let Beau run outside ...bit of a pain at times but
a retractable with Max and peanut diong doodle 500 runs next to Beau has posed problems in past.
