I'll tell you this...Dexter is soooooooooooo soft and cuddly!!
i loved hugging and holding him when Leslie and Jerry were here last summer to take Kirby home!! DEX is like a big soft cuddly teddy bear

Dexter is so comical, they taught him BANG and he goes down and lies on the floor! soooooooo cute!

Dexter, you look soooooo soft and cuddly!

As for grooming F1's, I clip Cali in the summer to 1/2" because of the extreme heat and humidity here in TX and her black coat. I worry she would have heat stroke if I didn't. I leave her face looking scruffy though with the beard and eyebrows. Last summer she looked like black velvet when I clipped her. She has since gotten a lot more silvering in her coat, so it will be interesting to see what she looks like after clipping this summer.
