Years ago I doggysat for two Irish setters, two of the whineyest dogs I have ever met. They whined and ran from window to window allll day long, couldnt wait for their mommy and daddy to return !

Glad your whiney w/e is over and Mija and the kitty have their space back !

Annmarie, I love the photo of your son and Beau. Beau looks like a big furball

LOL Annmarie, I wonder how many doggy sitters that poodle has gone thru

You need to take a photo of Beau in the same position so we can see how he's grown

how much snow did you get ????

I'd be happy to have snow for a few days - that's about how long it lasts if we do get snow, sometimes it lasts and hour or two and is gone

I had the Great Pyrenees from hell. He'd growl at everything, even Cinnamon. (He never did growl at me though) 130 lbs of white hair and yes, they shed. He'd be asleep and wake up and bark. Brings you up out of a sound sleep let me tell you. Even Cinnamon was saying enough. We watched him last summer for 5 days. By the 5th day, he was settling down enough to want to play with Cinnamon. By then she was wary enough of him to avoid him. It was a long 5 days.

You guys are starting to scare me.

I have committed to watch my daughter's daschund and cat when she spends Christmas with her fiance's family. I have ordered and received Soft Paws for her cat's claws (she loves to chase Tanner) and I have ordered a band to put around her little doggies privates as he is a marker

How will we ever survive this

Annie, we dog sit Cinnamon's BFF Sarah a lot and they get along great! We've also watched other friends' pets with out incident. It's the GP that got me. He was a pain, but he doesn't get out much and isn't real social. If the time came and we were asked to watch him again we would. I would know more about him and we'd adjust.
