Default New computer

I got my new Mac mini last week and I found a program on it that lets me make a kind on comic strip/picture montage.....so here's my first attempt. I still need to get all my pictures out of my old computer....but here's what I do have.....

Very cool feature, Gene, and of course great subject matter!

That is a cool feature.

Have you always had a Mac or is this your first one?

It's my second Mac. I had one about 6 years ago that crashed and I never got it fixed. I then inherited my mom's pc....but never really liked it. My new mac is tiny and is a lot more windows friendly than my old one. here's a picture of how small it is. The power pack is almost as big!

I wish my nails could look that nice but I do too much gardening.

I was going to say really a lot easier.....BUT.....I hit some wrong buttons trying to rush uploading some pictures of the freshly groomed doods, and lost not just them, but all the ones I've taken in the last list, plus the latest "swamp" videos. Thank goodness I uploaded the best of them to photo bucket! I am mad about 1 pic I took today that the way they were standing, it looked like they were acting out the Abba video for "take a chance on me". I rarely catch a "Lisa" quality subject picture....and lost it! Waaaaahhhhh!

Macs couldn't be any easier to use... I recommend that ANY person that uses their computer for business or financial use gets a mac There is a VERY minimal risk of viruses/hacking, there are no uninstallation of programs - just drag it to the trash and the program goes away when you empty your trash. EVERYTHING is drag and drop - you find a file online you want to save? Drag it to your desktop and there it is - want to open an image file you found online? Drag it off your browser window and drop it onto photoshop (or whatever graphics program) and it opens.

They are fast, easy to understand, and a smarter design than any PC I've ever seen. There is a reason that PC's are all trying to copy Mac! Those commercials you see with the young "hip" mac guy, and the nerdy pc guy are all true... its awesome

My new imac boots up from complete shutdown to all programs running in 15 seconds. It is INCREDIBLE. The only reason I still have PC's in my house is because I know how to build them, and I can get all the parts cheap. Plus most of Annie's computer software only works on PC.
