Matey will be arriving at Bradley Airport! We were planning on Friday for arrival but the flight was full, so we changed to Wednesday!!! Tomorrow afternoon whooo hooo!!!!! I should have lots of photos to share and may have one last one from the breeder today to post. I am so excited!!!!!!!
I decided to feed raw and portioned out the chicken and beef logs last night into meal sized pieces and froze them in individual bags. I wrote "Dog Food" in sharpie on the container, so hopefully DH won't make the mistake and make a meat sauce with it. (It would be extra funny to me seeing that I don't eat meat at all, so he and DS would be feasting on the doggie food alone). He did make the mistake once before with some gourment doggie cookies that I bought for our last dog, I think that I just about died laughing! I still have to set up the crate, already found the spot for it though. I am also having a motion sensor light setup for the back yard to keep the wild life at bay when we go out for our many potty breaks at night. The creatures are mostly deer and turkey with the fairly rare sighting of coyote. Oh, and I forgot about the ferocious bunnies. But Matey will never be alone out there, and while he is little he will be close to me.

WOW - already? It seems like the time went by so FAST! Of course, I was just in your shoes and know just how slooooow it felt!
Just wait - the days will fly by now and before you know it he'll be getting huge and you'll remember what it was like to have a tiny little doodle puppy!
