Hi,

I've been reading the Forum for a while now, so I thought it was about time to join in. My name is Matt, and my wife and I have a 6 month old mini-labradoodle named Boudica. Right now she's about 16" high and 20lbs. We think she'll add another inch and 10 lbs or so.

We got her from Gleneden, a breeder in Virginia, when she was 16 weeks old. We had some challenges early on (broken leg, hated the crate, ate books faster than I can read them), but she's the friendliest, happiest dog in the world and we're thrilled with her. Best of all, she learned to use her doggie door in about a day, and does great at home alone while we're at work. Having said that. I'm sure our couch will be in ruins when I get home today.
I've gotten a lot of great info from your posts...thanks to everyone!

If you're bored and want to see more cute doodle pics, you can check out my stuff at:

thanks,

Wow! Boudica is gorgeous!!
Great pictures on her site!!
I like the flying ears, too.
The wet head at the fountain is great!...a familiar look....

I can think of two ways to say her name....pronunciation, please?

Welcome to the forum....It is fun and addicting...as i am sure you've discovered....

Always a lift to the day,
or evening,
or both...to see new pics of doodles and
visit with their often-times doodily owners!!
Again, welcome and enjoy the young days.....they go soooo quick!

Welcome Matt...Chewbacca was whelped (October 20, 2005) at Gleneden as well. We "rescued" him from his original owner...she moved into a high rise condo and could not deal with the unending energy...Chewy is currently tipping the scales at 70lbs, still growing.

Hi Matt,
My name is Charlene and I got my mini-labradoodle, Kylee, from Gleneden also. Kylee was 4 years old last week, and is a wonderful addition to our family. I hope you will enjoy your doodle as much as we do ours!

For those of you who remember me asking out "submissive peeing", I'm happy to report that Kylee has almost totally outgrown it!! It feels like it took forever, but she pees less and less frequently when she is greated by our guests. I'm at the point where I'm considering replacing the front door rug, now that I hardly have to mop anything up anymore!
We're still working on not jumping up on visitors. I'm trying all the advice I've read on this forum, so hopefully we'll have that problem licked too.

Now if I can get my teenagers to help me post pictures, maybe you'll get a chance to see our sweetheart too!

Charlene
