Default 23 lbs and lost TWO TEETH!!

Took Dex for his last round of vaccines today, and he weighs 23.5 lbs. The vet thinks he'll level off right around 50 lbs.

She was checking his teeth, and his front two are gone! I didn't even notice until she showed me...HOW CUTE!!

YAY Dex - no more shots for a while!!

WOW! I finally stuck my fingers in Sandy's mouth yesterday and felt the loose teeth for myself - I TOLD you it would happen soon!

I can't believe he is up to 23lbs! Have you checked his height? I'd love to know how tall he is compared to Sandy - it cracks me up how DIFFERENT these dogs are!

How much are you feeding him? AND WHERE ARE MY PICTURES???

Photos tomorrow, I promise. For Annmarie. (No, for gene). (No, for you, Kristin....) Thank you all for asking.

I tried my best to gauge his height today, Kristin, in anticipation of you asking me!!.... Best I could get (because he was so damn interested in the measuring tape) was 16-16.5" to the withers. You said Sandy was 18"?? Wowza. He's gonna be a basketball player.

Soooo....uhhhhh.....whassup w/ Purple Collar Girl these days, hmmmm?

Well I emailed Diane and she said there was someone coming to look at the Purple collar female and the green collar male (my second choice!) this weekend. I'm going to look at my finances and see if I can pull it off. I told her I'd let her know by Monday. I'm nuts for even considering it, but I just love these dogs so much! And I wanted two close together anyway... so if I can do it I'm going to, but if I can't... well, ok, I'll cry - but just for a minute! If I can't then it wasn't meant to be and I'll just go back to my original plan of February 2008.

Kristin, I know how you feel! There's so many breeders with chocolate puppies right now, my favorite! But I'm most likely getting a red puppy from my breeder (my second choice, now- after we put down our deposit). I wish I could financially afford two puppies, because I would grab up one of the chocolates! Dang finances! They never work in your favor!

I hope that it works for you!

Good luck!!!

Sandy is getting a visit from the tooth fairy tonight! He lost two teeth somewhere along the way today - one top and one bottom. I didn't even know the bottom ones were loose until last night!

Gosh they grow fast

Wahhhhh! When I open Dex's mouth I get a mouthful of big pearly white dog teeth. I want a baby!!!

(Even though he's technically still a baby, and will ALWAYS be my baby, it's just not the same as puppy breath)

Wahhhh!!
