Look at my BEAUTIFUL Service Dog!!

Sorry to brag about looks, but I had a pretty intense doctor appt today.
I sat on the floor in the room and let him comfort me.
GOD! I love this doodle! Look at the compassion in those eyes!
Oh.....that's his new Martingale collar on him.

I hope everything is ok with you, and am so glad that you have Bogart to watch over you. I think they are sometimes much more compassionate than humans. He is beautiful and who could possibly resist those eyes!

Thank you all for your support and compliments.

As far as my health, I try to ignore it, yet the pain is there 24-7. Who cares! I workout and walk miles.
Yet, this particular appt had to do with my stomach and it's going to be a process of elimination that hopefully will NOT result in surgery.

Life is too short to "give in". I intend to enjoy my life and bite the bullet.
Bogart is a major support to me. I just LOVE HIM!

Bogart has such soulful eyes. It’s like they are just willing you to a calm and peaceful place.

Nikkiey....when Bogart was under a year old, we ran into a woman in the city park. She said, "Ohhhh.......look at this beautiful, OLD dog."

I'm like......"What? Old? He isn't even a year old yet!"

Then she explained that she thought that was amazing because she thought his eyes were like that of an elderly man who had lived a long life and had SOUL in his eyes.
I then took it as a compliment!

Bogart is the only dog I have ever had that does such amazing eye contact!
I had him at Kroger grocery shopping the other day. Unaware that a manager was standing there as I shopped...she asked me if she was in trouble.

When I asked why, she said that when a dog stares into someones eyes, its not a good thing.
I then proceeded to show her how he communicated with his eyes.......then she asked me if she could pet him. I, of course, told her she could.
Bogart looked in her eyes and then snuggled against her leg as she rubbed his ears. He would periodically look up at her with like a smile and bright eyes staring right into hers.
She fell in love!!

Look at your sweet and loving boy. Amazing!! My friends who aren't dog/animal lovers have no idea the bond and connection you can have with your pet. Such amazing creatures they are! Bogart is such a special dog
