Jasper is fascinated with....

...our tape measure! It is hilarious

At first I thought he was afraid of it. I have tried so many times to measure his height and he bites at it....

He first saw one several months ago when we were measuring the height of our new couches to get large enough end tables...he watched-totally mesmerized, but wouldn't come near it.

Tonight we were measuring Tuxedo's kennel b/c we are ordering an orthopedic bed and again Jasper was staring at it and play pouncing at it ...

Sooo, after we were done I just set the tape measure on the coffee table....and forgot about it...Jasper didn't!! lol

I picked it up held it in an open hand to let him look at it up close and sniff at it and hold it in his mouth...then I pulled the tape out and he went crazy!! I think he thinks that it is MAGIC

He jumped back and was barking and wagging his tail...it was soo funny! Then I retracted the tape and he nosed it really hard and stared back and forth from me to the tape measure...so I pulled the tape out a little and he got all excited again...SO CUTE !!

Who woulda thought that a tape measure could provide soo much entertainment to a dog?!?!?! It was soo cute! He made me play with it for at least 10 minutes before he got bored with seeing the tape appear and disappear!!

That's awesome! Juneau runs from ours, I think he believes that he will disappear too if he's too close!
