JASPER GRADUATED PUPPY CLASS!!

(18 weeks old as of 7/3/2011, weight 28 lbs.)

Jasper passed his first training class with flying colors!
He will be starting the intermediate class on the 25th of July!

We are so proud of him, and I am considering progressing Jasper and myself to be a therapy team We will see how he does in his next class.

Here are some pictures of our graduation!

Congratulations to Jasper! Sadie graduated from puppy class on Saturday as well! My favorite part was that there were tiny graduation caps for the little dogs and big caps for Sadie and the other big puppies. Did you do the class photo? Ours was hilarious with all six puppies and multiple owners trying to focus on the camera.

We start the intermediate training in two weeks. I also would like Sadie to be a therapy dog. Here in South Florida there are so many retirement homes she could visit.

Sadie and Jasper are so much alike!

I loved the little graduation caps, too! It was so cute!

We didn't do a class photo, we only had three 'students' including Jasper, lol

Are you doing your classes through PetsMart too?

I wanna see a pic of sadie, pretty please?!?

Here's a picture of Sadie at her graduation--it was the only one that turned out halfway decent.

We are taking the Petsmart courses. I had a private trainer come to the house once for a lesson (I was really worried about her nipping and biting) but I really didn't like his philosophy or the way he talked down to me. I like our Petsmart teacher, Terry. He's awesome.

I love our trainer from PetsMart too! I shopped around cuz I didn't know if petsmart was 'too commercial' or not, but its perfect...

Caitlin was soo great! She helped us shop for Jasper before his arrival! She is very genuine and LOVES animals!

Sadie looks so grown up too! She is huge? or is just cuz there is no real frame of reference?

Sadie weighs 30 pounds now (that's 13 pounds more than when I got her at 10 weeks). She seems huge to me. She and Bailey, a chow-pit mix, were the biggest puppies in the class by far.

She also seems to get shaggier every day! I can't wait to see what her adult coat will actually look like. I've attached pictures of her at three weeks, seven weeks, and after I gave her a bath a couple of weeks ago.
