Default Murphy's First Haircut

Murhpy is now almost 10 months old, and doing quite well. Of course, she has a lot of energy, but she also has her 'down time' as well. She gets along great with our Golden Retriever "Moose" and her best friend is our daughter's Bernese Mountain Dog "Mozart" (7 mo old). We kind of liked the wild look that Murphy had, but realized that she really had to have a grooming. We didn't want to have her shaved all the way for summer, but our instructions to the groomer were to trim her basically the same length all around and not to make her look like a poodle (OK - nothing against poodles, and I realize that she is probably more poodle than lab). So, here she is ... we miss the wild look, but hair grows (except on my head). Thoughts as to what we could do differently next time?

Murphy looks GREAT! She's really BIG! How much does she weigh?
I wouldn't do anything differently next time!

Thanks Linda. She's fairly tall - almost as tall as our Golden Retriever, however, I think she's only about 40 pounds - at almost 10 months. I'll get some accurate measurements and post them with the next round of pics.
Regards,
Bill

Thank you. Main reason for the haircut was the wild hair was down over her eyes - we couldn't see her eyes, so I'm not sure how she was able to see. Also, her feet were fairly bushy. We were very please with the grooming. We went to a local boarding kennel where they also do grooming. The place was very clean, and it was obvioius that they care for their 'guests' (We boarded both dogs for 4 days - they got to stay in a 'condo' unit for $20 each per day, plus an extra $3 for extra exercise. The grooming was only $37 for each dog - which is a bargain!

id been hearing about another labradoodle at our ACE hardware store..but, never really paid much attention..

until i need fertilizer and i took Toby in to get them meet..she was a standard but alot slimmer..and she has that same cut..she look d absolutely beautiful..and as gentleman Toby took an immediate liking to her..sniffing in all the wrong places

if you want less of the poodle look..you could take less off the face..with less on the face she ll look heavier throughout the body..but, the cut on the body fits her perfectly..
