I just have a quick story about Diego (almost 6 months) that I thought was pretty weird.
Diego has this little fox, one of those "skineez" stuffing free dog toys that he's kept around for the past 4 months (a miracle really). This morning I found a fox on my bedroom floor, clearly regurgitated but in one piece. It was soaking wet and reeked of vomit. We have recently been letting him stay out of his crate for an hour or so at a time while we're out, so I figured last night he must have swallowed it while I was grocery shopping. Kind of a scare, but I didn't think anything of it as he had clearly gotten it out of his system overnight. To my surprise, I walked into the living to find another fox toy. Dry, in one piece, and missing a foot (which he removed months ago). So where did this regurgitated fox come from??? He was at daycare on Friday...I thought he could have eaten it there, but he showed absolutely no symptoms of anything over the weekend. He continued to eat and poop as usual for 3 whole days. So strange!! I guess I should feel lucky that he's ok, but I never knew to worry in the first place. Crazy doodle! |

I'm sorry.....that just made me laugh!! WOW! You are really LUCKY!! I won't even go into the horror stories one of our trainers told us about a poor, now dead, little beagle puppy! Simply put, the beagle ate a sock and it twisted the intestines and killed him. This certainly is a mystery!!

We talked to the woman who runs the daycare Diego goes to and it turns out they were in fact missing a fox! She promised to keep a closer eye on him for us and keep soft toys away from him. He must have just been playing the ultimate keep away with another dog!
