Santa Toby at work

Toby visited Astoria Gardens yesterday..Bringing Christmas cheers to
those who d just rather be somewhere else..

You ll see that Toby has put on a few lbs. since last yr..

PURE DELIGHT! Isn't it the BEST feeling to bring such JOY to others?
How DO you get Toby to keep the Santa hat on?
Bogart would be yawning and certainly not looking at the camera!
Unfortunately, for us right now, my husband is in the hospital in critical care. I rushed to to emergency late Wednesday night.
He has had 2 surgeries and a 3rd tomorrow........but they saved his life!.......or maybe I did by MAKING HIM GO!
Bogart is now in the hospital with me every day.
He spent close to 12 hrs in the ER with me.
So, when I'm there, I take him to various rooms. One BAD thing happened..........he licked a woman's hands and face and then I found out the room was contaminated......no entry! her daughter dragged me in there and didn't tell me. So, we visited 3 times before I saw a nurse enter and put on the YELLOW gown!
My doctor friend has told me to put Bacitracin in my nose and Bogarts. Apparently, many diseases start in the nose.....so we have to be really careful.
I don't know when hubby will be home......so, I have to keep reminding myself that it's Christmas!
Half the time I don't even know what day it is as I'm exhausted and driving back and forth.

It certainly was nt as easy as the photos might imply..it was tough
keeping the hat from sliding down over his eyes..but, it did nt bother
him to wear the santa outfit..

last year the outfit was kinda loose..since then he s gain d 20 lbs..and now fits like latex *was that a naughty*

well, tomorrow we ll be visiting New Hope..another facility in town, where
Toby got started..and i ll have another show up in a few days..

i send the pictures out to costco..then take them to the facilities and have them give them out to the residents as Christmas gifts from Toby..

20 lbs! Wow! that is a big difference! Toby is a big bear hugging soul. As long as he's healthy.
Thanks for the prayers for hubby. This turned out really bad. He was so sick that his 3rd operation needed him to be cut open. He'll be in another 3-5 days.
SO! Looks like I'll be spending much of Christmas at the hospital with Bogart!
