AAkkk! We had a similar situation but we found Cooper (who looks a LOT like your dood!)across the street. Our dogs, Cooper the labradoodle and Stella the goldendoodle, did so well with their wireless fence that we sometimes let them out without their collars. Well, Cooper was across our BUSY street smelling the flowers. He came running home and was OK but they never, repeat, never go out now without their collars on.
