Default Marley and "the ducks"

We all have our little routines....
Marley LOVES his ducks. Every time he runs outside, he likes to bring a duck with him to scare the bad guys.
After dad ran over his duck last year with the lawnmower, and we had to drive 25 miles to find a replacement....dad always likes to make sure there is a spare.
I think we are up to 4 now, at least 3 have had surgery(mom is a pro now!)
So, every night I was going around outside to pick them up so that they would not get all wet & dirty. I started getting tired of this, and told Tuesday to get them for me. No problem, Tuesday will do anything for a treat, so, every time she brought me one, I would give her a treat. Marley just watched but didn't participate.
This became a nightly,(or daily if there was rain/snow) routine.
Tuesday has been busy with her pups.....
So my husband was home on the couch. He called me and I looked at him, and Marley is sitting there with a duck in his mouth, pawing at him. All his other duck are around him. My hubby asks "what does this dog want? He keeps bugging me!"
I had to laugh.... I knew what was up! Dad just doesn't know our routine!
He did this a few more times.... dad is quite the treat giver, so "Oh boy! this is easy" says Marley!
The next day, while outside picking up you know what, I see the ducks...

Do you see what I see? Okay...one is a pheasant , but Marley was getting all his "ducks in a row"!
These guys are just SO SMART!!!!
