I just saw this article and cried. I want to blast the Green Bay police department for this...I'm just shocked that they would handle the situation this way. I'm speechless...someone should pay with their job for this! Ridiculous!

OMG! I am in tears too! This is the most horrifying thing...can you imagine how that dog suffered? What in the world is wrong with these people??? Would they have shot a child in a similar situation? I can't believe that they didn't get in touch with the owner...HE FILED A REPORT! Oh, I am sick.

i am sitting here going and
I cannot believe what they did!!! and a simple call could have avoided what became a horrible tragic ending.

they quoted the injuries it could have caused due to traffic YET gave NO HEED to the fatal injuries that they did
and injured a family's heart (possibly faith in help too) permanently as well.

Oh! Dear GOD!! I am horrified and angry!
I don't even know what to say!!! I can't even IMAGINE them doing something like that!!
Try putting a BRIGHT person there and see how the situation may have trurned for the better. This was a stupid, inhumane act!
How about stopping traffic? SO WHAT if it inconveniences people!!!!!!!! I mean, we're not talking a ferocious and viscious animal that escaped from a local zoo!!! This was a DOG for crying out loud!........I AM SO FURIOUS!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!
