What a day!
Final count is 8 puppies, 4 boys and 4 girls, 3 cream (one a light carmel, not really cream) and the rest are black. I have pictures and I am downloading them now and then I'll import to Photobucket and post here. The tiny white feet look pink...LOL .... they are white, trust me. |

Congratulations, they are adorable. Where did she start delivery? Who was the dad? Parti-factored? The white toes are precious. With ours, I never got a good look into the roof of the mouth to see any pigment delay there or not. You must be so happy. 8 cute puppies to watch for the next 8 weeks. The coats on the cream look great, a nice wrinkle down the muddle. How are the blacks? I cant tell from the pics on my laptop screen. Are any of these going to be part of the Program (GJR)?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are so happy to have them here and...yes, they are big, fat, and strong!
Swany is parti factored, carries brown, and so the pups will have a bunch of good things to bring, even the black ones...yes, we will keep at least one. Probably a female since we are retiring Bayley. The creams do have fantastic coats...I expect good things from them...I will have to check their mouths, I had not thought of that. The blacks have a range of coats. Some look like they will be wool, some are flat, some are wavy. The flat coats may be like Nitos (he is from Bayley) and his coat is the best I have ever seen...on any generation! So, if any of these flat coated pups turns into a fleece like Nitos, they will be on my list to keep! I just won't know until I do DNA testing on the daddy (dual sired litter) and learn about their temperaments and personalities. As you know, it is a package deal! |

OK all jokes aside.....i get right up to the screen but then again it could be i used to blacks and also whelping 2 kinds of doodles w/my breeder and i will say the reds they come in various colors from so dark to a muddy brown but i like to play the "coat" game w/my breeder ( color, texture etc )as it's fun and you have 8 to 10 weeks to see. creams are easier to see.....OH peanut, as a puppy had barely a ripple or wave down her back then at 8 wks she had 3 tiny waves 12 wks her fur went in every direction etc but from early point on we knew she had fleece for sure.
