PEANUT's is where she wants to go out .......she doesn't bark or whine NOPE she stands there and does a tilting of her head and then opens her mouth ..I SIT AND wait going YES peanut tihnking OK just this one time she might bark or someting AND then she closes her mouth as quickly hahahaaaaaa silly doodle but it means I GOTTA GO! MAX's silliest thing is to IGNORE peanut when she wants to play it's his way of getting even for her doing the nip and tuck to the inner part of his legs when she plays with him. (yes girls are dirty players) hhahhaaaaaaaaaaaaa we have other things they do.........but for now I"D LOVE TO HEAR MORE ABOUT YOUR DOODLES!!!!!!!!!!! WHO'S NEXT?

Henry HATES mud, well Samson thinks its the funniest thing in the world to put as much mud as possible on Henry. Royally ticks off Henry, and right now Henry looks more like a Parti-Doodle than a white doodle because of the patches of mud Samson has put on him with his paws.
To pay Samson back for this horrible mud pats, Henry will block every exit from the living room from Samson while I'm vaccuming (Samson hates the vaccum and TRIES to leave the room immediately when the vaccum is running). Henry blocks the exits - LOL - until I tell Henry to knock it off. After describing these two "funny" things, I'm kind-of figuring out my doods have a sick sense of humor with each other.... |

Linus gets annoyed when I spend too much time on the computer. So if I'm ignoring him because I'm busy on the computer, he will put his nose under my right forearm, then throw his head back so my hand comes flying off the mouse. In dog language I guess that means, "Get off that stupid computer and come play with me!!" Funny how he has figured out that that mouse controls what I am doing.

I was thinking of this very issue this morning around 2 am with Ozzie. For some strange reason he decided to bark or do that throaty low rumble out of our bedroom window at heaven only knows what! He just wouldn't stop. Of course, I'm trying to get back to sleep but just as I start to drift off....grrrrrrrrrrrr. I couldn't reach his butt with my foot (too lazy to get out of bed!) so I just finally gave that quiet yelling! I didn't want to wake hubby. I just told Ozzie to just knock it off and go......lay......down! Well, being the doodle that he is he jumped up on the bed and turned his head away from my tired self and proceeded to plop his butt on my belly. He just looked back at me with that "well....you wanted me to lay but I think I'll sit if you don't mind" He just sat there for a few minutes and then I reminded him that I said "lay down....not sit down". So, he did. He laid on me. There wasn't a piece of fur that hit the bed. It was all on me! What a goof. By this time my bladder registered the 73 pounds of dood pressing down upon it so I had to get up. Except now he doesn't want to move. NOW he decides to listen to me! Back to my quiet yelling but I was pinned. He put that huge head on my throat and gave the "ok now I'm ready to sleep" sigh and I knew I had to just simply hold it!!!! I was almost glad when he felt compelled to go back to the window and start the process all over again! That was my signal to get up, go potty, and just go lay down on the couch! Of course, Ozzie took over my pillow and slept quietly the rest of the night. My husband wanted a puppy!!!!! hahaha. I love him. I just keep reminding myself that I truly love him. I never did figure out what was going on outside other than probably the deer playing in the side yard. Let's hope tonight they play on the other side of the house so I can get some sleep!!!!

Well, I have a game that I play with Bayley...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS to ANYONE...but, well, we are weird and I completely enjoy it...
If I want to play, I just look at Bayley and open my mouth and shut it so that my teeth make a noise....then Bay wags her tail so fast and then she jumps up and air snaps about 1/4 inch from my nose! And I giggle and she sits, watches me and I open, close...and she air snaps...her tail wags so fast! She loves this game and I trust her completely...Bayley is totally controlled and would NEVER connect...I have done this with her since she was a baby and it is just our game...Dave doesn't dare try it. Whenever I sneeze...no matter where Lexie is, I know that she will soon come scurrying to me with a toy in her mouth to make me better. If she can't find a toy, she brings a bone, if she can't find a bone, she brings a paper plate, if she can't find a paper plate, she brings some candy wrapper...but she never lets me down! I KNOW that a sneeze will bring Nurse Lexie. Gracie has this adorable way of looking at me when she wants something...all of my dogs have "a look" but Gracie's is the most dramatic and charming thing... she not only bats at me with her paws, but she rubs her paws over her nose and ears and then she lowers her nose and looks up at me without moving her head....and I get that adorable pleading look that only dogs can give... Other times when I am standing at the counter, Gracie will come up to me, standing only on her hind legs...not touching me, but gently putting her paw out, waving it in the air, as if she is raising her hand in school. Sherwood...well, my Sherwood LOVES to carry things around. He finds the biggest thing he can grab and will carry it all over the yard and the house...for DAYS...once he decided to play with a 5 gallon water jug...taking the handle and carrying it like a bone...but he kept hitting the doorway when he'd go out. I buy him huge teddy bears from the thrift store and he takes their butt and carries them all over for weeks before he finally destuffs them. You know...these things are "you have to be there" moments...written descriptions just don't do them justice! |

JAC..............I LOVE it!! that's what i wanted in this post......the funny things we DON"T have pics of but
where our mind wanders to a mental image when we read everyone's funny things and that Snapping the Teeth........DAVE and MAX play that game DAVE (my fiance) has a game w/Max since he's puppy. Max and Peanut do NOT come in the kitchen unless by invitation BUT DAVE likes to tease Max and slightly yells OUT OUT GET OUt and MAX barks soooooo loud and jumps in air runs to other entrance and this keeps repeating till i then quietly go "MAX are you talking back?!" and MAX then plays "mr innocent" and sits quietly hahhaaaaaaaaaaa then i go back to preparing Dinner and DAVE starts the game all over again till MAX jumps up in the air and clicks his teeth looking like a big ole mean dog hahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I love it!!! and again i'll walk over asking Max if i heard him talking back and he sits giving the look like NOT ME .......it was DAD! Dave does this almost everynight

We regularily go hiking in a conservation area. Bordering this area is a beef cattle farm. Sometimes, the doods go under the fence and enter the grazing field. Now I know what you are thinking, cow patties!!! Well, NO, not yet, they have yet to indulge in one of those. Whew.
But Gus is bone obsessed. In these hard times I guess this farmer was not paying to have his dead cattle taken away (which you are supposed to do) and he was draging them to the back of his field to forget about. The back of his field is the edge of the conservation. Now we get to the FUNNY? Are you guessing what happened? Gus came running back one time with a bone. A large bone. A cow leg bone, whole. Attached to the hip. Attahced to the other leg. Both legs still attached all the way to the hoof because the tendons had not rotted yet. How funny, he fetched 1/2 a cow skeleton. He came pracing back very very proud of himself. |

Beck does alot of funny things but he recently discovered a way to make our poor old Australian Shepherd just about lose her mind. Every time she falls asleep Beck goes up to her and slaps her in the side of the head with his paw, then he runs away smiling and with his tail spinning in circles like a propeller.

McGee attacks whatever implement I am using to clean the floor, broom, swiffer, mop, etc. Here he is with my mom playing the role of swifferer:
