Default Lagotto Romagnolo.. founding breed of Poodles, Doodles, etc.

Saw this on animal planet, was fascinated & just had to share!!
This is a rare and old breed. Body-wise, looks like the desired Labradoodle shape...complete with saber tail.
It is the breed behind Poodles, Portuguese Water dogs, Golden Retreivers....... so Labradoodles too!
Down side looks like not such a desired coat and the energy of a wired up Lab.

that was really neat to watch!!! thanks JUDI and i must say some doodles look exactly like the Lagotto Romagnolo breed
I don' t know if i could handle the diggin part though

How adorable! They really do look like Doodles!
This is an amazing story, Judi, thanks for posting!
Sounds like they are loving but that they are not quite as easy going as our Doods...from what I read, anyway...but gosh, they are cute...and small!
