2nd evaluation today :)

We meet our guide at 4PM today at a healthcare center for rehab patients.
The bonus is that the Girl Scouts will be there caroling at the same time!
Only ONE more to go after this! WOOHOO!!

He was WONDERFUL!! It was so thrilling!! Passed w/ flying colors again!
Next and LAST one is this Friday!! WHOOOOOOOOPEEEEEEEE!!!
The Girl Scouts weren't there....

The activity director must of messed up on the dates. Oh well.........

I can't wait until Friday!......and it's over!

I have to add a few things regarding Bogart.
NOW Bogart will have 2 jobs.
In a way, it's starting to get confusing for him...........For example, as a SD, he sometimes walks with me off leash through grocery stores and malls. WHen I say off leash, I mean dragging a leash as I must always have him under control and I do believe that woul be a requirement in any store. He even does better when he's free and breezy rather than held on to.

NOW....he seems to want to approach everyone!
We have been given a new word! Instead of saying..."Wanna say hello?" We are now to say...."Visit".
I have to work very hard now to teach him 2 separate jobs. At 2 years old, he's doing well and should only get better........but he MUST learn the difference!

Also, at these evaluations, the guide brings her Greyhound. Bogart LOVES dogs so much that Pellee is a distraction for him. She will not allow Pellee and Bogart to say hello and "get it over with"! Pellee could care less about other dogs where Bogart has one thing in mind.........PLAY!!!!! :P
After awhile this passes and at the end of the evaluation, she allows them to sniff and kiss....

.........but Bogart has Pellee on his mind most of the time!
I will be happy to soon have him alone and without the Pellee distraction!

Brovo Bogie and Linda!!!

Our therapy/service dog learned the word "visit" for therapy work and the command tells him to rest his head on the person's knee. It is very cute...
