Yowsa!!!! Thats how big Marleys dad is!!!
If Marley bred with his sister, you would probably have some Amazons in the batch!!!
Hmmmmm....Marley and Madison (Bailey's sister, not the tiny Madison hiding from Bailey in this album)...interesting...how big is Marley (how tall?)

I personally LOVE the big dogs...

Love the pictures, but your descriptions were the best! Looks like they all had a ton of fun. Bailey is gorgeous I love how her ears are a little darker then the rest of her body.

those are great pictures! I wish Ozzie had a fenced in area to play with other dogs. I've never had him at a doggie park but keep contemplating it. I'm afraid if I let him off leash in a park like that he might decide to run off. I have a feeling that someone did something to Ozzie involving water before we got him because he is very afraid of it! Imagine that. A doodle that doesn't like water! The only time he likes water is when it's raining and he only likes to go out and get wet so he can come in to get towel dried. Silly pooch. It looks like all of the dogs had a great play day!

Thanks, Amy...actually Bailey is a boy. And this lighting is not good for his coloring. In the house he is quite a dark apricot and his cream markings relly stand out.

Poor Ozzie...don't you wish you had a way to look into his past so that you can heal those wounds...? I am not crazy about dog parks...there can be too many chances...I prefer a controlled environment. And, believe me, given the opportunity, my dogs would bolt! They have run off many times! And when they go, the pack follows! Luckily, they find their way back...but usually full of ticks and stickers!

I do wish I could un-do all of the bad things that happened to him and was allowed to be done to him! I am just thankful everyday that he was put into our lives!!! It was love at first sight and I think that was mutual on his part, too. He ran right up to us and gave my husband his famous "love lean"!!! His eyes just said "Please take me home and take care of me and you won't regret it. Well, maybe the part where I will eat your new camcorder but other than that.....". So we did just that. My vet isn't a big fan of the dog parks either. He said at least once a week he's stitching up a boo-boo and at least once a month he's doing a major surgery on a severe biting injury. Not all dog owners are responsible or considerate owners I think I will just stick to our 1 1/3 acre yard and good walks (on leash) at the metropolitan park. He loves hiking in the woods. Lots of fun things to see.

Well it sounds like Ozzie is in good hands now.

I haven't taken my guys out to the dog park because honestly I figure it'll tire me out more than the doodles. I can't imagine chasing both of those guys around and making sure they both don't get into trouble. So I'll stick with fetch in the backyard and constant wrestling inside.

And I could see why your vet doesn't like dog parks if he's constantly fixing boo boo's from dog park accidents. I hadn't even thought of that. But I'm sure there are plenty of dog owners that go to the park that don't know exactly how to handle their dog or those that are trying to socialize an unsocialized dog.

Well I am glad to see that I am not the only person who isn't crazy about dog parks. We do have a very nice one in our little town...and I have never been there when there have been more than 3 other dogs...and they have 4 fenced areas so we can always go somewhere else if we don't like the looks of the dogs that are there...not "looks" as in appearance, but "looks" as in attitude.
