Default My Doodle the Poodle...

My husband & I go round and round..... He likes Marley real shaggy (but he doesn't brush him!)
I like him easy care, but cute!
It has been SUCH a buggar keeping him weed seed free lately.....we always come back from walks with at least a few different kinds of seeds on him.
I am worried what will be growing in my yard come next spring when the rains hit!
So.... hubby is working out of town.
Broke out the clippers..... shorter over the back, cleaned off his belly, an inch off the lower half, and then short under his ears....Uh oh!
Now I have a poodle! Boy am I going to get a chewing out when he gets home!!!

Marley looks beautiful!!! My husband and I have the same discussions about Dakota EXCEPT it is reversed, I like the shaggy dog look (if we had of know what he was gonna look like as an adult, we would have named him "Tramp" after the rumpled boy in Lady and the Tramp!! ). My husband prefers the clipped coifed look. We comprimise--clipped in the summer, "Tramp" in the winter!!!

Thanks all........ he is such "a boy"!
He has now found a bare spot on the lawn that he loves and lays in it......and soaks up all the dirt!
Since he seems to feel he belongs on the couch & bed, I do my best to keep him as clean as possible. This is going mean shorter, so he can be more easily bathed.
Despite his shorter cut, he still came running to me with a branch across his head the other day......looked like he had a forked horn on one side & a single horn on the other... told him it was a dangerous time of year to be sporting horns!!!
