The title says it all, one of the puppies decided it was time to play, and the rest disagreed, they thought it was time to sleep. I agreed with the latter, it was LATE and I wanted to sleep too but he felt like voicing his opinion, loudly. He is one of my favourites in this litter, not for his coat (flatter) but because he has such a cute BIG BLOCKY head. Love the LAB in the labradoodle. He is 15% bigger than the next largest puppy!

How can anyone NOT be grinning from ear to ear and awwwwwwwwing when watching that. OMG! PRICELESS!!! The "pile of puppies" sleeping through all that is amazing!! Todd, I always tend to pick puppies that are JUST like that one. Bogart was FULL of expression and very active when we chose him!

Hey Todd...will you also (please) check the pictures of Molson and compare to my boy? I am thinking that he might resemble Molson...what do you think?
I'd LOVE some updated pics of the little guy...not that you have nothing else to do... |

I am working on it. My photographer is busy with a non-furr puppy (Finn). She is so much better then me, I swear I have taken 100 photos and they are all very bad. Either flashed out, too dark, dirty background, or dirty puppies from their last meal, blurry, arrhh. I'll try to trade making dinner for some nice picture taking very soon, I promise. We are so overdue for a puppy update.
"Your boys" coat is wavy, not curly, not as long as Molson's was at this age, but definatley not a short F1 coat. We will have to wait a week or two and see how they develop some more. The video here with the loud puppy is orange, he has the shortes coat of them all but I still dont see is as an F1 coat. There are one boy and one girl with very silk-eske Molson coats, simply stunning, and they are lighter slightly than the rest so I am thinking they may be the ones that turn out parchment or lavender (whatever you call it, some of the pups from last time are like that and they are beautifull, I am hounding Hercules for a pic of that too!), but they are not the mismarked ones. Tough decision. |

Thanks Todd! I can relate! My picture taking is outrageous! I am so jealous of those people who have a knack for photographing beautiful puppy pictures...next time I think I'll get Diane out here for pictures! I always get the good shot only to notice a little poop stuck on a leg...or eye boogies...it seems that every time I get the camera out, my pups (and adult dogs) pose perfectly and then, just as my finger hits the button, they spin around and I get either a body blur or a tail...so I do understand!
I am still wanting our boy...no reason not to, he is a cutie pie...and I do think that he will resemble the Molson picture I have seen...really I do...I could be wrong, but I would be surprised...not that I expect him to BE Molson...but his coat has lovely wavy curls and his coloring is like Molson...so I think he will be lovely! Mostly I am waiting on his personality and temperament to develop as that (as you know) is the number one criteria! I think that the pup in the video is adorable...and I love his assertiveness! LOL He is not shy! I think that his coat looks curly in the pictures I have seen...in the video it looks curly. They are all adorable, so we can't go wrong! How is your little girl doing? |

I cant believe it, this guy (orange) was picked first by the pet homes (barring Jac swooping in to claim him)! Not a curly coat for an F1b, he is the biggest and the loudest, but they just fell in love with his blocky lab head. Gotta love 'em.
Jac, my wife and I did a coat inspection last night and it feels like red is VERY fleecey soft, but not curly at all and not very wavy, and slightly shorter than than Molson's. There are two other boys that are long wavy fleece like Molson was at that age. And of course some cute curly-Q's. My wife promises pictures soon. We had a customer visit last night that took up our time. I love meeting the new families and seeing how excited they are for their new puppy and having them gush over each puppy until they narrow down their favourite. It was a great night. |

Good morning Todd, and all, thanks for the update....it is fun meeting the families! I enjoy that part too.
I am not too concerned about Red's coat...I'll wait for the pictures and a little longer to hear about personalities too...although I expect that they will all be great! |
