I keep playing the video over and over! I can't get enough! Question... Is it just the lighting or are they getting darker (um like black)? Your pictures show them so reddish then in the video they look like very dark chocolate. I am kind of dumb about these things. No matter what, you do get some beautiful puppies Todd! Even my niece could not quit saying AWWWWWWWW!!!

I think that it is probably the lighting...the video is low light and the others are likely using a flash...that would be my guess...I noticed it too.
They are all so lovely...their coats seem very wavy! |

They are darker when they are wet, and the early pictures they were stil wet from birthing/mama's cleaning. My camera doesn't have a flash for video so it's darker, and they look lighter in still pictures when dry because of the flash. They are actually brown with a hint of red, like hershey. A few of them though have a steel brown kind of look, like they have a hint of weimerainer in their colouring. I cant seem to get it to show up in a picture, but they look dusted with a fine silver dust. Anyone breeders notice that before? |

Maybe you have some parchments there Todd!
I have seen varous shading in my black pups...that usually indicates the blue coloring. Emma Gracie has dark tips on her brown parts of her coat...very pretty...I think that is the agouti? I also think it is sable...but I am not too experienced with colors...other than blue, I know blue! |
