So....I spent Memorial week-end by myself. I drove out of town and took my teen to the airport, so that she could catch a plane to LA to see family & do Disneyland.
Tuesday's breeder contacted me as she had puppies from a sister of Tuesdays......perfect excuse to visit. I had not seen her or her dogs in almost 3 years.. Tuesday's mom (going on 8 yrs old) & sisters....same parents, different litter. ![]() Tuesday's dad.....his coat explained why I have so many CURLY COATS! Not wool....just big curls, tiny bit wooly. but mainly soft. It was interesting going back and looking again after what I have learned! ![]() Then of course...The PUPPIES!!!! It was my last stop before heading home so I said the heck with it and just sat on the ground and let them have at me!!! They are SO SWEET!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Next day I had made arangements to meet "Lyle", one of the last 2 pups of Tuesday's litter that I didn't have any adult pictures of. I saw dad in town...they live a ways out of town with no internet conection, so internet comunication was out. Weird thing.......I believe Lyle actually remembered the smell of mom, you should have seen his face! This is chubby little Lyle, we called him "Brutus" because he was so chunky and big. He was my only fleece that was wavey...the other 2 fleece coats were curly like dad... ![]() Here is Lyle with Marley and Tuesday.... His owners put "terrier eyebrows" on him so his eyes look funny in the pics... ![]() Marley, Lyle and one of his little humans.... ![]() I was surprised to see him look so Poodle-like...and size wise, around the same as Marley! Ther were 3 others that went 90# that were alot smaller and more refined! Next....since we were in an old area I hung out at in college, to the lake we went! This was one of the lakes I swam at in college(also the site of many bonfire parties). It has since had alot of houses built around the shore but, suprisingly it has made it even more quite....I guess the newer people don't know about it! (Fine with me...the dogs have another swimming hole!) ![]() My family thinks I am nuts but I had a blast....they cannot understand how this could have possibly been fun. Call me easy to please1!! Thanks for looking! |
