Default I'm grounded from the forum by Finn

Hi doods! Finny here!

I had to write to tell you I might not be around much for a week or two. You see Mom had grounded me from the forum. One night last week after she and the brat, um, I mean Gracie, had fallen asleep on the sofa I was hanging out in the forum catching up and I saw those AWESOME pics of our friend Comet on the dining room table. I had never thought about laying on the table and the idea seemed brilliant to me. So a few nights later, Mom was checking out the forum, turned around and saw this

Hey Mom! How you doin? Like my new spot?

and this

I'm checking out the forum with you. The view from up here is great!

and this

I'm in trouble huh? You got your teacher face on... Uh Oh! Teacher voice too!!!

Anyway, now I'm grounded from the forum cuz she says I am picking up bad habits from the doods here. It's so much warmer up on the table! Thanks for the idea Comet! It sure was fun while it lasted! I'm glad your mom lets you do it.

I'll talk to all in a week or so!

Finn:

We think that is a great spot. Mom always yells at us when we step on the tables by the front window. I don't know why she yells. How are we going to protect her from squirrels if we can't see them? Moms are no fun sometimes!

Finn I have to tell you I don't believe for a second you really did this. It had to be the intruder. No, No, now wait and let me tell the story the way I see it. You were minding your own business sleeping where you should when the intruder came and lifted you up on the table. You only woke up when mom walked in! So don't confess, we will get you the best doodle lawyer we can! BTW do think a penny will work? That is all we could find on the floor. Good luck buddy!

Finn,
You look like such a natural up there on the table! So innocent and so relaxed. So sorry for the bad influence. Comet really isn't allowed up there either if it makes you feel any better.

Finn and Rumor - you guys look so comfy ! Hey, it's not like those tables were being used by anyone , can't your mom and dad see all you were trying to do was save them work by "dusting" the furniture

I love the facial expressions! They could be captioned:

1) I'll just win her over with my cutest smile
2) Okay, that didn't work, I'll look away
3) oh crap

Brie actually jumped on and over the coffee table today because she couldn't get to the futon. She paused and the was like screw it i'm going over. She didn't get comfy on the table but maybe table beds are a hot new doodle trend that we don't know about.

Well Finn - all I can say to you is what I've been saying to my kids for the last umpteen years..."If your friend decides to jump off a cliff, would you still think it was a good idea to copy them?" said in tone of voice. No, can't say I had a lot of success there either, but I would have thought a DOODLE would have had more of a sense of self-preservation than my kids
