There was no hope of stopping that doodle train though
I hear you Leslie!! The GL can only do so much. The most frightened I ever was was a pre Rumor walk in the park with Jonah and Miko. They saw another dog, each picked a path on either side of a crotch high post .......luckily, I dug my heels in and saved myself some serious pain!!

Yikes!!! I can't imagine having two doodles dragging me toward danger! I have enough trouble with one sometimes when Cali sets her mind to something. Fortunately this doesn't happen very often.

Leslie, I thought of you yesterday when we returned from our walk. Just as I was opening our back gate, a young rabbit scooted out, saw the doodles and ran right into the street! A car was coming and the bunny did a quick U-turn heading straight for the dogs! He made another quick turn about a foot in front on Wayne and headed down the street. It took every once of strength to hold on to those guys. Thank goodness he was a fast little guy.

I finally corralled them into the yard and they were both still hyperventilating. LOL!

At least they can't say nothing exciting happened that day.
