Saka is a sweetheart...
I certainly hope that you will recover quickly! Sounds like you have had your hands full lately. Here's hoping for a calmer month ahead! Ok so I'm sure you remember last week we had 2 trips to the ER. Once for DH and once for our oldest daughter. Well last night was MY turn! I went in to the ER last night with sever abdominal pain. They did a CT scan and also ultra sound. At first they thought it was just a fibroid tumor and some ovarian cysts. However I just got a call from the nurse in the ER (who was VERY worried) and they had a specialist review the CT scan again and one of my ovaries might be twisted so I have to follow up this afternoon with my regular doctor at 2 today. The nurse said that if the second ultra sound done by my doctor shows that it is twisted that I will have to go in for emergency surgery because its cutting off the blood supply to the ovary. So I don't really know whats going on yet but I figured I would let you know. After everything is said and done you might have me trolling the forums for a while since I won't be at work! LOL *sigh* Guess I've been healthy for to long so good ol Murphy had to throw something my way! At least it wasnt something more serious like my appendix or a tubal pregnancy. Which since I had my tubes tied 6 yrs ago was a concern of mine. You always hear horror stories. So this morning I was sleeping since they had given me 2 shots of dilotin (sp?) that rocked me pretty good. So DH went to go get my pain meds from the store and took Saka with him. When they got back Saka ran and jumped on the bed waking me up and he was all over me!

Oh no Sue that sucks!!! Im sure I will get smelly too since they always take FOREVER to let you shower after a surgery!
Aww thanks Meg & Cali! Doodle kisses and prayers are greatly appreciated! The worst thing about all this was tonight was my last class and we had a final. Plus I had to turn in something for my other class. Its something for work that is a requirement so if I dont get good grades it messes with my job. I doubt they will dock me points and I run an A right now my one class and the other class is just turning in my 1 assignment.

Thank you for all the good wishes, prayers, and specially the doodle kisses!
So I spent the rest of the afternoon having ultra sounds and more blood drawn. The only spot that the tech was able to hear blood flow on my left ovary was between my uterus and ovary so it could very well have come from my uterus. So we are still not any closer to knowing whats going on! Not to mention my dr seemed to have formed her opinion before even sending me to the ultra sound. However my white blood cells have gone back down to a normal range. My dr said that she would get the full report on the ultra sound tomorrow and I should also call her and tell her how I am doing tomorrow. *sigh* I dont know what to think or do now. The ER nurse that called me sounded like it was serious and my reg Dr says its just "normal" However if its normal would I be doubled over in PAIN? I was feeling the sharp pains even through the Dialotin they gave me last night!!! Any Ideas???

Yeah Kathy I think it might be needed. My reg doc called me later today and said my blood results had come back and m0y white blood cells were down from what they were in the ER so I guess thats good. She also said that the full report should be in her hands tomorrow from the radiologist that did the ultrasound. SO I guess I will wait a little bit but if I still dont have any relief tomorrow night and she still isnt going to do anything else then I will go back to the ER and see if they can do something else.
Now since Ive been in bed ALL evening long Saka has been reluctant to leave my side. DH has even had to pick him up and remove him from my feet so he could eat or go outside!!!
